Soap developed from fresh goat’s milk is a cottage industry in Sarawak benefiting the indigenous longhouse communities in regions where raw materials obtainable from the forest decreased due to development.

Fresh goat’s milk is sent from the nearby farms to these communities to be manufactured into high quality Goat’s Milk Soap so as to support their livelihood in lieu of the declining forest resources.

While working closely with these communities to ensure consistency on the quality of the soap, Sarakraf has designed and developed with these communities on a series of eco-friendly packaging ideas based on their own indigenous culture.

THE BENEFITS

Even from ancient cultures, milk has been used as a luxurious moisturizer. Rich in natural emollients, goat milk’s soap is a natural way of retaining your skin’s suppleness. Goat’s milk contains natural proteins, amino acids and Vitamin A, B, C & D as well as calcium, potassium and magnesium nourishing the skin naturally and helps to exfoliate dead skin cells, cleanse and soften the skin and letting the skin shine from within.

In addition, it has a pH level that is close to our own skin's pH, making it very gentle on even the most sensitive skin types. It is also the ultimate in skin luxury offering perfect solutions to skin disorders like eczema (atopic dermatitis), acne and other sensitive skin care concerns.

In Sarawak, we only use 100% pure edible essential and luxury oils in our soap as its short-strand protein structure allows it to be easily absorbed into the skin and reduce the effect of possible skin allergies and is great for dry skin! In addition, it is eco friendly and authentically natural.
